As of 15 December 2014, the Patents Office has made its design data available to the Designview search tool.
The integration of the Irish data is a concrete result of the Cooperation Fund programme managed by OHIM in collaboration with its European partners.
Also, on the same date, the Korean Intellectual Property Office has made available its data for searching in Designview. The incorporation of Korean Intellectual Property Office is due to the efforts of the International Cooperation programme managed by OHIM in collaboration with its international partners.
With both offices coming on-board, there are now 26 participating offices in Designview. And with the addition of more than 840,000 Korean designs and almost 2,000 Irish designs, Designview now provides information and access to about 3,6 million designs in total.
Since the introduction of Designview on 19 November 2012, the tool has served more than 800,000 searches from 135 different countries, with users from Spain, Germany and the UK among the most frequent visitors.
